Default I'm new. Hi.

Hey all, I'm Ryan.

I have been wanting to get into some autocross and the like for a while, and I'm about to pick up a '91 LS for cheap. I should soon be in the market for some lightweight rims and nice sticky tires and shortly thereafter a good suspension upgrade... maybe some other stuff who knows.

I haven't done much work on imports, but I used to work on old fords a LOT and am looking forward to having a toy to play with again. I should be in Birmingham this Sunday for the autocross. Not with a car to run, but soon... very soon

If it's auto X your going for, I would get the suspension first.
If you are concerned with looks (like me and many others that don't admit it) then by all means, go for the wheels first. Just make sure you don't over look the suspension.

if you are going for autocross, do some weight reduction for better handling, and get sticky tires. THEN, worry about suspension, and lastly wheels

b.t.w. ...welcome

I agree. Do it right or don't do it at all, I say.
