Default stainless steel or ceramic coated headers?

i like the look of the stainless steel headers,LOL. but which is better at keeping the heat in the header and away from the engine bay?? which would last longer?? i can always use header wrap i guess if the stainless steel is a better choice.

No matter what your headers will rust, so that shouldn't even be a factor.

exactly

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 93formula &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i thought stainless doesnt rust??? </TD></TR></TABLE>

they do eventually after a while. they look nice for a few weeks then the color starts to change and its starts to dull out then rust..

stainless=bling ceramic=cost effective

id definitly reccomend stainless. for one stainless will take longer to rust.. mines going on 3.5 years and no rust whatsoever.

but the main reason is ceramic headers are a much cheaper metal. compared to the stainless they will bend and dent a whole lot easier.
