Default Heater hose problem. HELP!!!

Hey guys,
The other day i was replacing one of my heater hoses on the firewall and when i removed the hose, i noticed the piping behind it look like this. A friend of mine said it looked normal cuz his civic was like that. I dont think it looks normal. So i want to know if any of you guys have seen this before. The car was never in an accident, but i did recently do a motor swap so im guessing removing the motor might of smashed it. I dont know how but it may be a possibility. Let me know what you think.

It shold be ok...try to straighten it out as best you can and make sure the hoseclip is tight. Looks like somebody tightened a jubilee clip on too tight at some stage to me.

I didn't want to start a new thread so I'm bringing this one back. I'm in the process of changing the heater hose that the OP circled or where it was. I can't get to the clamp from under or above the car. How did some of you guys manage to get the thing off? I replaced the left one easily but that right one is a pita. Suggestions?

Edit: The reason I can't get to the clamp is because it lays against the firewall.

that colors right...its copper, and to korean_teg you might have to use a different tool and come at it from a different angle, maybe from the sides...you have to move some stuff around though.

you toasted that fitting when you took the hose off. Had the same exact problem during my h22/accord swap. you ahve to get a new heater core. 40 bucks.

i would buy a new heater core, it will leak down the inside of your firewall, under dash, and into the floor carpet inside the car. Mine did it a lot before i fixed it.
