I bought a semi built complete D16z6 off of Hotrex in early november(see: http://turbod16.com/viewtopic....light. It was to include everything to complete the swap including a Clutchmasters lightened flywheel and a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch.

I received the swap around late november or early December. It took a while to ship but I was in no hurry. When I got the swap I looked it over and all seemed ok until I noticed the tranny didnt have a clutch or flywheel in it. When I confronted Hotrex about this he told me that there was another box of stuff that his dad didnt send with it and that he would send it out right away. Again, I told him no big hurry and that I appreciated it. Remember, this is December.

Periodically I would send him a message every couple weeks asking when he was gonna send my stuff out, usually with no reply. Finally the time comes when I need to sell this thing and I have no clutch and no flywheel to sell with it.

I know Hotrex has a tough time shipping stuff on time, but I think 4 months is a little rediculous. I will gladly take this post down after I get my stuff. But until then Hotrex either owes me $200 or the parts promised.

Before anyone asks, yes I did try and contact him recently. I have sent about 3 or 4 IM's along with a PM to his HMT and TurboD16 accounts stating that if I didnt have a reply by tuesday that I would be forced to call him out. Nothing has received a reply.

 

god damn scammers another 1 to add to my list.

 

seems like HMT users love to take forever to ship things.. hopefully you get what your waiting for.. Or at least get your money back

Thanks to some TurboD16 folks I got a reply. Hopefully stuff is being shipped as we speak. Hopefully being the key word.

 

well as you can see, i originally posted this stuff on March 30, 2005. I have since been told by a moderator of a web site that hotrex has shipped my stuff(a lie) and have been told twice on public message boards that he would contact me about my stuff. Yeah, each time I got a "i'll see what I can do" and that is all.

Hotrex: not probably a scammer, a for sure scammer. 6 months and no parts and he's ignoring me. Classy guy. Wonder if I'll get a response that says "IM me and I'll take care of it" like when i post the other ones. Great way to make yourself look good in the public eye. Now, be a man and follow through on it.

As of right now this is bullshit. He is a scammer. It takes NOBODY 6-7 months to ship something. He's ignored ALL of my messages, wont reply to my PM's, and has shown no signs of trying to resolve this. Therefore, he is a scammer. I'm sick of people sticking up for this guy on my deal. He may have taken a while to ship peoples stuff, but nobody I know has taken 7 months. I believe not shipping an item for half a year and not replying to any of his messages would make you a scammer.

until now he hasnt scammed anyone. He just takes months to ship stuff. That I can find, I'm the first person he's ripped off.

 

HMT members don't take a long time to ship anything. Hotrex is on ban not because he scammed someone, but because he can't ship things in a timely manner. (Which is also a way to get the classifieds boot)

The guy has a fucken problem. As a friend, I wish I could throw him into the angry monkey pit at the zoo. I've done what I can from 1500 miles away, and it didn't work.
