how to check condition of tranny?

Default how to check condition of tranny?

when buying a new tranny is there a possible way to be able to physically check if its in good condition. also how can i tell if it is a tranny for 92-95 ex/si tranny?

the ex/si tranny tag should read B000 other models read A000

condition i have no clue

u can see if the shaft spins by turning it by hand, thats the only real way u can tell if atleast will work, otherwise u have to start ripping it apart
