Default relocating valve cover ground line

Where would be a good place to move the valve cover ground to? Does it have to be attached to the valve cover, or can it be anywhere on the block?

it is one of many grounds on the car, eliminating it is an option, though i would recomend that you upgrade the other grounds with low rest. wire and make sure they are secured to good ground points.

I dont want to totally get rid of it. In my old Teg i had a different ground and I did not crimp down the ends enough, so it would rattle and cause my battery light to flick on and off.

Anywhere on the block will be fine, just make sure you have a good connection on both ends.

It's best to keep it attached to the valve cover. I personally like to use the spot on the right rear of the valve cover (assuming looking at the car from the front) where the power steering line mounts and then running it a couple of inches to a hole for a 10mm that's maybe three inches away on the shock tower. It comes out looking particularly clean as well.

Regarding grounding you can never have too many, Ideally you would have one each running from each of the following:

valve cover
head
block
tranny
intake mani
throttle body

Yeah, right rear of the valve cover, right on the strut housing. If you have a strut bar it will be hidden.

I put mine on the lower right valve cover stud, where it actually gets a good ground.

That is where mine is going now. I have anice braided flat ground stap that looks nice. But it still looks bad comming off the front. With my AC lines and PS pump gone the front end will look a lot cleaner
