Default Is idle related to Vehicle speed?

Just curious as I have noticed that when I am rolling and put the car in nutral (5 speed) the idle is about 1k Rpm. When I actually stop, it will drop to the normal idle ~700. So I figure that it must be related to the VSS in some way if this is normal operation.

The only reason I noticed was I recently adjusted my idle and reset the ECU, so I have been paying attention to it.

yes it is
your stopped idle should be 700 and the moving idle should be about 1000 when moving.
all is well
