has any one with a rhd converted car or just rhd car been hasseled by the police at all or no

 

 

if its registered, u have nothing to worry about

 

even if its converted, they wont make u get it inspected

 

i had a buddy that did a conversion on his 240. he was stoped once...the police said nothing about the conversion...and its still registerd as a reg. 240...another guy that i meet once who drives a s15 went to the chp and was told its fine he has the car as long he stayed on the right side of the road on the real. here in so cal you just need to know the spots you go into, because all cops are different.

 

Downsides. Drive thrus you need to go in reverse. lol. And you cant pass on a two lane road.

 

i got a 94 prelude rhd but its jdm not converted and we get hasseled sometimes but not cuz its rhd but cuz its not registerd and we roll on dealer plates

 

do you need to register it if it's coverted?

If you are asking, is it legal to drive an unregistered car if it's RHD, then im pretty sure the answer is no, doesn't sound logical that a rhd car would get to skip registration.

 

**** i got pulled over for an illegal left, cop went to the passanger side (US drivers) looked in, said "well, guess i gotta go around!" and everything was normal from there. he didnt check if it had chp stamp, vin swapped etc. AND this was in orange county!

No Drive thrus fast foods
No ATM
No Toll Roads without Toll Pass

 

Only problem I had was when a Cop followed me home, but didn't really do anything other than stare at me.

 

i get followed, but i guess when they run the plates it comes back as a grey market car. so i don't get pulled over for that.
i did get pulled over one time cause the cop thought i was letting my 5 yr old drive the car.

but ya newayz its up forsale for decent price if any is interested.. and oh ya its a pretty rare car they dont make coupe in eg style in japan from waht ive been told.

 

been pulled over twice, one cop liked it, the other didnt mention it

 

i wouldnt worry about it i havent heard of any legal issues

 

I get the double takes from cops...never been pulled over though...Luckily or I will have a lot of explaning to do with no registration yet!!!

WRONG -they have EG coupes over here, I saw one today...

 

they do have coupes single vtecs over there? you get me pics i wanna see i've heard they didnt they had mostly ferio's so you gotta get a pic of one for me and what they call it... and i thought u were in tx? ek

they were not made in japan, they're the uk spec coupes that they imported to japan. thats the only difference.

btw anyone ever see that commercial where the old people are driving along and the wife in the pass. seat pulls out a steering wheel, and pretends to drive while they pass this guy, and as they pass she jerks the wheel to the right and he swerves off the road and crashes?
