Default All Motor or Turbo

SUp yall i have a 94 GSR and i do not know if i wanna go turbo or all motor. If i had a hatch it will be all motor cause the car is light. I just do not want to race imports all time i wanna race Mustangs, corvette etc.... Thats why im thinking about going turbo. I know a all motor honda can be fast as hell!!!! BUT more money. So tell me what yall think!!

I'm a little confused by your post. So are you talking about racing domestics on the street or on the track? Your right about all motor being more money, but the right turbo setup can be as fast and/or actually faster. You'd definately have to do some research before you choose an option.

Both setups require work and the necessary proper tuning, and are not simple bolt-on's. If your GS-R is new for you, I'd keep it stock for a little while and get used to it. Research while doing so, so that later on down the road you can make a decision based on what kind of goals and objectives you want.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do! But keep it safe on the track, not on the streets .

the way i think of it, the all motor project youre going to end up being not so serious, and your car is NOT going to be all that fast, it simply takes too much money. Once a simple turbo kit is bought, it is a great platform to make your car really quick. either way have fun!

This is always a good question...all motor will cost you more money and a lot more time but a good turbo set up could cost you a pretty penny also. Although turbo would probably be the best way to go you can also think of how you would feel in the long run? Sometimes if you go all motor you feel better about yourself when u get to your goal (if there is any) you know that the car is naturally aspirated and can potentially haul *** if built right and if you have the right engine. Either way you go....its a hard decision. Just thought id put in my opinion

turbo would probably be cheaper... an all motor setup would be REALLY expensive.

I think it's too much money to go all motor in a teg unless you have a Type R.
