Does Anyone Here Have an Air/Fuel gauge on a G3 Integra?
Which damned O2 sensor wire do I tap into for this thing?
The gauge is an Autopower, if that makes any difference.
Scott, who is all nuts and bolts and couldn't read an electrical schematic with a gun to his head.

it should go to the signal wire from your primary O2 sensor.
On my 97 civic ex, the wire is white.
I don't know if this helps, but good luck,
aj

I have 2 black wires, a white one, and a green one.
Is this what you have on your Civic? If so, mines likely the same as yours.
Thanks

What is on a 97 Civic is likely irrelevant since that's an OBDII car. I'm looking at the (OBD-1) shop manual and here's what I see.
You've got two positive/negative pairs - one for the sensor itself, and one for the heater (it's a heated O2 sensor). This is gonna be hard to describe with a keyboard but here goes.
From what I can tell, here's what we've got:
White/Red: + for Sensor
Green/Blue: - for Sensor
Yellow/Black: + for heater
Orange/Black: - for heater
I suspect you need the white and red wire. Here's why - in the troubleshooting section of the shop manual, there's two sections for the O2 sensor - one for the heater and one for the fuel system (which is what I'm pretty sure you want). The section about the heater tell you to put a voltmeter on the y/b and o/b wires. The "Fuel Supply System" section, which seems much more relevant, tells you to check the w/r and g/b wires.
So I'm guessing that the white/red wire is what you're after.
This is all based on a quick look through the shop manual...so don't hold me to this.

Hey RoadRacer,
It is the "White Wire", should run to "D14" on your ECM.

The white wire plugs into a white/red wire on the harness, so this is very likely the correct one.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
