Default 2,200$ to much for worked block?

i was just talking to inline pro about this block that they have for sale right now, its a gsr block with 86 mil bore, forged pistons and rods dont really know the other details...Are they asking way too much..they said my motor would be a 2.0L afterwords and would run strong..

I heard that the duration of the motor life will be greatly decreased..
any help would be apr.
another question does the jdm gsr have lim. slip?

doent sound like it. sounds like its an 86mm bore, which would put you a little over 2.0l

is it just the block, you asked about lsd so are you getting a whole swap?

need more details....

it sounds like a reasonable price to me. but you could also build one that suites your needs/wants for that price.

is it a fresh build?

still need more info

but i would say it come down to this;

that is not a bad price if the motor is a fresh build, but if it is not EXACTLY what you want, then build what you want for about the same price.

hope that helps

If the motor was built by Jeremy at Inline Pro then I think that motor will last a while.I have seen some of his motors that he has built and they all made good power numbers.I would buy it.

also depends on how you drive it and maintain it......if you drive it like an old lady it will last a long time....if you beat on motors like i do youll get 40-50k before you need a rebuild

I for one think this would be a great motor. if your going to complain about reliability maybe it's sounds like amoney isssue and not a motor issue. This motor will be stong and reliable from the infromation you have given us. I dont know inline pro, but looks like it will be a great chocie for you.

If your worried about messing something up and not being fast buy a stock b16 that will be forgiving and fun, but trust me you would have wished for this block. I had a friend of mine drive his jerry built motor for almost 3 years making 237 whp and it lasted almost 50k miles. It all comes down to how you maintain your stuff.
