Anyone use bend-pak lifts?
Thinking about buying a Bend-Pak lift from asedeals.com. Specifically I am looking at the LR-60 which is a low-rise drive-on type floor lift (you can see it here: http://www.asedeals.com/low_rise_lifts.html).
Wondering if anyone has any experience with bend-pak lifts in general or the LR-60 in particular? They seem to be fairly inexpensive but I don't know what stuff like this usually costs. This is going to go in my home garage.
Also if you are using another similar lift from another brand, and you like it, I'm open to recommendations. Thanks.
the bottom picture is of the portable version, that's not what I'm going to get though. I am getting the fixed version, but it's the same except minus the wheels and handle.

unfortunately my garage ceiling isn't high enough for that

We have a similar lift but its a snap-on thats portable (we can move it around the shop). It's not early as nice as the 2 post but its great for general stuff like suspension and engine work. Sucks for exhaust work though...

yeah I imagine it would be difficult to remove the exhaust while on this lift. but I will mainly be using it for engine and suspension stuff. How much did you pay for your snap-on lift?

I use one at work and we personally hate them. Your basically on your knees and the car is basically at the same level if you would have jacked the car up.
But since you have a small garage it may work out for you.

I have one at the shop I work at. It was a big step up from the old hydraulic lift that was almost all underground. Luckily a flood this past year gave us a reason to finally replace it with one of these. No complaints so far, but you'll still have to slightly duck underneath the car if you're at the 6ft or taller range.

i used to sell automotive equipment, the bend-pak's are average quality and for the quick low rise lifts most manufactures are about the same. The down side to the low rise lifts if your lifting a car with a body kit or want to do exhaust work. But they are VERY fast if all you want to do is get the car off the ground for wheels and tires, and or engine work. That 2 post on e-bay is plus shipping, I would shop around and try to stick with a name brand, And i didnt notice if the 2-post was a certifed lift? If its not certified stay away from it.
