has anyone had any problems with this cuz i just put my motor in and we were a little dis organized and we lost some bolts and we just have the rear mount bolted down and the left and the right mounts bolted in but not front mounts the front mounts are supposed to make the engine tip forward a bit? correct me if im wrong

I dont have either of the two front supplementary mounts, and my motor does not hit the hood(97hb), my friends on the otherhand bashes the hood everytime he launches hard(95hb). Get some solid mounts and you'll be fine.

 

Not that i recommend it, but there are a bunch of people that run without the front mounts on.

 

sorry i wrote that earler and wasnt paying attention to what i wrote basically i wanted to know if the valve cover and the hood should be so close to gether or did i do some thing wrong when i put the motor in and the only reason i have not put thefront mounts on yet is because i have to get so bolts. yeah i havent started it yet that seems to sketchy not run it with out those front mounts

Do you have a CF hood on? My VIS hood aint clearing the valve cover either. and im missing the a/c mount. So everytime I take off, you can hear that **** bang against the hood. It may very well be because of that missing mount, but I heard somewhere that you can get some inserts for your mounts to decrease any vibration problems. Your still not gonna clear it totally though. Could be some fucked up mounts too.
