Default Benefits from ignition and plugs

hey im planning on swappin my engine and tranny in my 95 civic coupe...i want to go turbo so im still researching on which engines respond better to forced induction...im most likely gonna do ls/vtec but i also like b20 vtec...or just the normal b18c1..im gonna do a gsr tranny and i would just like to know what the benefits are of swappin my ignition and plugs to lets say an msd ignition with ngk plugs....is it necessary to change my ignition im not sure....any opinions would be great...and ill def have pics posted when im done with the swap i still have alot of questions...thanks

Weight reduction. Your wallet will be lighter, and that's about it.

There are Hondas that make 400 whp on stock ignitions.

Had been running NGK V-Powers one step colder than stock up until about a week ago when I needed new ones and they didn't have any in stock. Now Im running something else, at .030 (same gap as the NGKs) and they're fine too.
