Alright guys, im kind of stumped.. It has happend 3 times now to me. I'll be driving down the road/highway ect. and the car will literally die, the rev's blip a couple times then it dies... If I let the car sit for a bit the problem stops and it won't happen for a few more weeks.. its very odd, I checked plugs and wires, everything is ok, threw some injector cleaner through it and its not throwing a CEL at all... ? its running rich, and it bombed the emissions test, im going to be replacing the O2 sensor soon. BTW the engine is a b16a2 out of a 99 sir..

i would look at a few things

1) ECU (mine did that before)
2) Distrubutor (are the rpms jumping)
3) Bad Fuel (heard of this before)

 

yeah does sound like a fuel thing.

just happened to me 2 weekends ago... fuel pump went bad

sounds really odd, it happned to me the key senloid went bad i would hit a bump and the car would shut off. Cant hurt to try it seeing if thatsthe problem.
