Default dc sports header install??

I just bought a 90 integra gs and was going to put on a bseries dc sports header but I found out there is not enough cleareance to just unbolt the old header and bolt in the new header. Anyone know what exactly I have to remove to get this done?

i have a 1-piece 4-1 header, and i had to remove my clutch slave cylinder from the tranny to get the beast in there. you could probably just remove the radiator fan or the a/c unit also. any one of those three should make it easy.

if you drop the cross member you can bring the header from the bottom up

no the part that it bolts to with the radius rods and the front engine mount bolt too

also that bar that goes from front to back of the cross members(with the 3 bolts) you can take that off and leave it off

ok I got all them parts off, wasn't very hard but time consuming because I wanted to make sure not to break or lose anything or remove anything that did not need to be removed. Got the stock header out and then my good day turned bad. The DC header fit to the head but was too short to reach the CAT!!! also the flange on the CAT was about 90 degrees out of phase to that of the header. Guess I'll have the muffler shop do the install while they install the new CAT I bought.

got it all done, car even passed emissions with the new cat.

one big questions in the picture chriskona put up I couldn't get the #1 item ( bar that connects #3 to #2) can I leave it off, what ways can I reinforce it or do i have to. there will be a ls/vtec once I get the conversion kit.

just in case are there aftermarket reinforcements that can offset any negatives to removing this part. I do plan to make this an ls/vtec and well would rather not run into problems later.

thanks for all the replies you guys are awesome keep it up
