Tranny ground cable is screwed up. Making a new one. Which gauge?

Tranny ground cable is screwed up. Making a new one. Which gauge?
Hey guys I noticed my grounding wire for the tranny is almost rusted completely and half of the small wires have torn. I'm going to make a new wire and was just wondering if anyone knew the best guage wire for the tranny, and the best guage wire for the valve cover grounding wire.
