umm dont waste money on your automatic

you arent going to get 275-300 out of an auto d16 unless you drop serious cash

if your going to spend that much just i dunno to the 5 speed swap or something

dont boost an auto its depressing

Auto isnt that bad with turbo. I knew a guy that was running 13's with his LS turbo auto. IF you want 275-300hp daily driven and turbocharge. Thats not going to happen. My friend with his NA 210hp civic hatch runs low 13's without slicks. If you get into the 300hp zone you are looking at 11's or better. But if you want to reach in that hp zone, do the LS swap and turbocharge it. But if you want a daily driven vehicle, turbocharge the d16z6.

turbo the d. Who cares if its auto or stick. auto=constant boost. and as far as makeing that much power it is possible. i know a guy (also on ht) that made 300whp on a stock internal d16z6 with just a head gasket and arp studs. was running 11's in his daily driven crx.

im pretty sure stock automatic transmissions on a civic can't handle much more than 200whp. i've heard a couple horror stories around turbod16.com

Why not? That is not much hp at all. There are some guys pushing over 350 whp on their DDs.

but the variable here is that much hp on a d series motor. those kind of numbers out of a b series on a DD are fairly common.

Swap over to a 5 speed first. Your AT will not make power at all.
