I was lookin around and found these JDM look foglights:

http://www.procarparts.com/sto...52FLX. I was wondering what the difference is between these and the JDM H.O.P. foglights (besides the bulb color and manufacturor):

What do you guys think?? The only reason I'm considering these is because I'm on a budget and these things look pretty similar to JDM for a lot less $$$.

 

price is the only diff!!! hell it even comes with the fog light switch for 100 bucks on ebay!!!

man ive been trying to get some on ebay but the never have the 2dr ones its all the 4 doors or like $300 for a 2 dr

edit- w00t w00t now they have a lot up there. might snag me a set, how hard are they to wire up and put in and everything?

I think I'll just go with the H.O.P. foglights... yellow or white? What do you guys think?

 

just to let you know, the honda one light up the road alot better than knock offs. i dunno if its just the bulb or what.

 

my friend has ebay ones and they light up really well.

im getting these as my late bday present when mom gets home today

any proof to back this up? and you can change the bulbs, so that doesn't really mater.

the ebay ones seem fine to me, Im more concerned with the light output from my headlights than fogs anyways

 

ive got a cheap set of pilots that are as bright as my headlights with only 55w bulbs. now i might have misunderstood the meaning of this thread. i just wanted to put my two cents in

I have depo brand copies. They are sex.
They look like oem, plug-in like oem, they even tasted kinda like oem.

Brightness will have to do with the bulb (or output). Not brand.

edit- I got mine from Luudogg55. Shoot him a PM, I got mine for about $100.

Inspect what you want.. 1/2 the parts off my car is worth more than both of your cars.

Did I say anything about og jdm? nope.. I said OEM has better light output for FUNCTIONALITY.. not to be some trendy jdm ****** b/c you got foglights.

There is something called quality..

And the the projectors are not the same.. projector affects the light output.

Taken from the EJ sqaud post... By looking @ this pic you can tell who has OEM and who has copies.

Damn, jump on it . Im guessing you own oem or jdm lights right...
Ive owned them both, i've compared them side by side, and it is really tuff to tell the difference.
And the Depos are really good quality lights in comparison to oem lights, so I dont what you're smokin.

The reason that pic looks so different, is b/c some of those are yellow... some are not.

 

if were talking about this topic...i dunno if we can go to honda and order em....ive only seen em used at passwordjdm...besides....how many times do we get heavy fog in so cal??? its more fashion that function!!! oh and i own three cars....just that the third aint a import

Nope I don't own a civic nor do I own fogs.

No.. I know the owner w/ the depo's and the light output sucks.. he knows it too.

 

i have a homie who bought oem fog lights from password...the so called oem like vita calls em...and he isnt happy, he expected more from em...
