well guys i just picked up my new car today, its a nbp 01 itr. problem is somebody had broken into it a few weeks before and stole some **** outta of, including the itr badge that is in the center console. so i have no idea how to sell wat stock number my itr is... is there any other place that would show this number? i need to register it thanks in advance
Search in Bbasso's thread or for the highest badge # someone's posted here, and make yours the next one in sequence. Thats the easiest way to find out.

yea it was sold through consignment on a lot, they said something about orderign something from the acura dealer, but i couldnt really understand what he was trying to say. I dont think he knows what he was talkin about, at first i thought he meant ordering the center console lid, but that is still there, its just whoever broke into it actually ripped the badge right outta the lid.
So im sure they could give acura the VIN # and have them run something to get another badge for it.

u can get another badge... it just wont have a number.... you just need to get in contact with the past owner so you will know your cars number
unless Mr. Honda is your grandfather, you arent gonna have much luck finding your # from honda.
even with the Vin. there have been a couple threads about whether or not the VIN and the production # have anythingin common.

yeah your production number isnt listed anywhere else on the car, and you cant find out what it is by the vun, acura doesnt keep track on the production numbers
you can order a new plaque from acura, it will be blank , get in touch with the previous owener and find out the production number and have someone engrave the production number onto your blank plaque
thats the only way youl be able get your number back, short of finding who stole it and taking it back from them

do you know who the previous owner is?
you should also check out http://www.itrca.com
its a site dedicated to integra type rs, you should become a member, the site has a ton of good info, and the previous owner might be a member on there, and you might be able to find out your number

Good luck finding out the #. I have been trying to find the previous owner of my aaR for over a year now. Haven't had any luck so I have just given up. VIN# isn't going to help. The only thing that I have read that will even get you somewhat close to the # or your car is there is supposedly some correlation between the block # and the car #. I have saw several cars and the #'s are somewhat close; ie within 25 but I could not find a pattern at all. We have had several of these cars come through here over the past 8 years and I have yet to see a car that both of these #'s matched... Good luck and keep us posted...

no its not, there is absolutly no way of finding out what your number is by looking at anything on the car or anything pertaining to the car
the numbers are 100% random coming out of the factory, there not recorded
the only way to know your number is to look at your plaque( if you have one) or to maybe ask the precious owner or somthing along those lines
