Default How do u fix ur hood release???

I have a problem with the hood closing right... Once i pop the hood, it doesnt want to close properly... I always have a rope to tie it down but im getting very tired of reaching my hand thru the front bumper and searching for the rope... How can i solve this???

My friend had told me to spray engine(grease cleaner) down at the latch and clean it up... Then lube it up... Will this work???

Thanx

This only applies if you have removed your hood recently, but check to make sure its aligned properly. Even if its off by a bit it will still effect the way the latch will grab the hood, im having the same problem with my hatch.
