well my freind is about to by a new car either a 90-93 teg, ef hatch, so with basic bolt-ons i/h/e/ no ac/whls/tires/gutted could he get a low 15 1/4 with that set up ?

 

Depends on a lot of things. I have a dc4 and ran a 15.8 w/ just i/e and we think a gsr tranny (too lazy to drop the tranny and count the teeth to be absoultly positively sure). I couldn't drop my 60ft time down, but I should be able to get it down to 15.5 A friend of mine who was there with me ran a 15.5 with i/h/e/hi flow cat but he too couldn't get his 60ft down. If he can get it down he should def be able to hit 15.2. It was the first time at the track for both of us so hopefully next time we get better times.

com'n man......you have been on this site good amount of time to know there is no bench racing. Why?!? There are so manyyyyyyyy factors you need to add to the equation so you can figure out whats times it could run in a quarter mile.


On top of that you didn't even add enough information.
