Just bought a 93 hatch with a built jdm b16, headwork done but no tuning yet (just stage 1)

When i pulled it in my spot last night, I just tapped the gas (1-2.5 rpms) and the needle feel all the way done and almost stalled?????

Any idea why?

stage 1 means nothing, im sick and tired of this stage bullshit because stage 1 is something completley different from 1 manufacturer to another. what exactally was done to the head?

and it bogged because it hasnt been tuned.

 

crower 401's
crower dual springs
crower ti retainers
skunk 2 gears
milled .020
bronze valve guides
skunk 2 hi comp valves
stock honda headgasket
stock bottom end/p30

 

yep it needs a tune, your ecu isnt nearly set up for the airflow those cams are letting in.

 

It seems to run fine, think its ok to run it for a while till i get it tune, just dont beat the crap out of it?

 

and just when i tapped the gas, at idle is the only time this happens

 

your playing with fire not tuning it

sure it might be fine, it probably will be fine, but it might also be possibly damaging to the engine.
