Can we all say, "theft recovery rebuild"?

I'd give him $5500.

or some guy who strippe dthe living hell out of his car, put in seats, shiftknob, and motor and sold it to an unknowing dealer.

that or the "dealership" he bought it from was a chop shop and pulled the c5 and other items and sold them then dropped a no doubtedly stolen b16 in it

yep, somebody either swapped the motors and interior before trading the car in to a dealer or some crappy dealer swapped out the items, or it came from a chop shop.

i wouldnt touch that car, unless like somebody said it was 5500 but of course idd double check the whole chasis to make sure its an itr

I dont see where anyone questioned it being a type R... I believe the comments in this thread being made are that the car is a complete theft recovery rebuild, and 10k for the car as is with a b16 engine isnt that damn bad either if I might say so myself.

Apparently, it wasn't reported to the insurance company when it was stripped because everything about that car screams salvage title.
