fyi, i have the same car as u. and the 7th gen v6 has NO headers...the only things u can do is a cai, catback, grounding wire and v afc (vtec controller) for performance

5 speed. I also have a 4 cyl LX. are you saying a turbo kit, wastegate, bof... won't help or possibly hurt the engine. I want max hp without doing any damage to the engine. i want to keep this car for a long time.

u have an i4, so u can get headers since htey are not bored to the manifol like the v6. u can tubor or s/c your car if u want but its going to be costly because no companies have made any forced induction kits for 7th gen accords yet...

If you don't want to risk reliability, just go with the usual bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, headers, suspension). Personally, I think suspension mods are the most rewarding.

i totally agree on this. but seletion on parts of the 7th gen are extremely small and cost a bit more than other cars, ie rsx, civics, etc. i got my 7th gen back in october....start modding around october and up to this point im almost running out of performance mods to do. thus far, i have a cai, catback, lowered on HFP shocks and springs, rear sway bar, front strut bar, and a customized grounding kit.
im just saving up for new tires to go along with the rims i bought, then a tint after that.
the only thing left performance wise i can get is the apexi v afc2 aka the vtec controller.
if u want to mod ur car for looks as well, u can also get kits, cf hood/trunk, etc....but i love the body of the car the way it is already

unless you have a big budget, totally agreed on suspension mods first. then get some wider/low pro tires. by the time youve researched/installed all of that, your 3yr/36k should be up. you're still running on that right now, might as well wait another few months just to make sure nothing happens to your car. if you do i/h/e before your warranty is up, you forfeit your engine warranty.
