Default B16B 2.5" header or not?

Just curious. Does the B16B come with a 2.5" header or not? Maybe like the '96 JDM ITR 4-2-1 (2 piece) header?

well if they say 2.5 inch its really 2.38 at least thats what the stock header is. liek the ITR header, they claim its a 2.5 but its a 2.38 or 2.36

No its not really 2.5". The 96spec ITR and EK9 headers have double collector walls the OD of the outer pipe is 2.5" but the OD of the inner pipe (which is the one that counts) is 2.38". This is fact.

the 96 jdm itr and b16b header is the same. And yes, the collector is 2.38.. ive own the jdm96 itr heADER B4...bUT I'd pick the jdm dc 4-1 header w/ the 2.5 inch collector over the jdm itr 4-2-1 header any day.......

The OD of the outer pipe is what everyone is talking about, because that's also the size of the cat flange and donut gasket. The inner pipe can be easily removed.
