Well I asked the question a while ago as to what color was on the intake and exhaust springs, blue and yellow was the answer. Well the springs that I bought have around 60k on them and the paint is gone, so.... Which is which? I can tell that eight are the same and the other eight are the same. The material on one set of 8 is thicker than the the others. Thats how I am telling them apart. And are all the inners the same?
If someone can tell me which is which and maybe some pics of some ITR retainers if someone has one. Thanks.

Not to sound rude, but didn't you think to ask the person that you bought them from about this?

 

one more things...

If you look at the top of the valve springs, does one of the sets appear "ovaled"? if so, those are the intake springs.

 

I did ask him but the machine shop that took them out of the head just through them into a box in no particular order. He thought that there was a difference in the height. I need to make sure.

 

Please someone help me.
