Default wierd noise when turning

My car makes a wierd noise when i turn left, but only hard left turns. It makes a single "pop" noise when the wheel turns far enough. A few months ago i hit a curb and bent the LCA and messed up the ball joint on the left side and so far i havent noticed any problems. Does this have anything to do with the problem?

Check your CV Boots. When they go bad you get knocking sounds when you turn. They are the little black rubber ...Accordian looking things.
