Default Antenna over ride?

Hey whats up guys, i was wondering if anyone has done an antenna over ride mod on their integra? i was thinking about the S2000 antenna but my friend suggested to just do an over ride, that way my antenna stays down when i play cds and with a flip of a switch i can put it up for the radio. Anyone ever do it and if so, pics! pics! pics! thanks guys

that was the first thing i did to my teg, i just popped the paneling that you "could" step on when you open your drivers side door. There are a bunch of wires in there covered in this black plastic thing. Once you get the wires exposes, I beleive it was either a green wire with yellow stripe, or yellow wire with green stripe. Which ever one it is there are 2 of them. I just cut one of the wires and turned my radio on and if the antenna doesnt go up, you found it. If not then tape that wire back up and cut the other one. After you find out which one it is, then just run a wire from either end and attach a switch. Too me 15 mins at the most to do. Good luck

I just cut the wire straight outta the radio harness, spliced another wire in with a switch, run it down the side of the console and into the armrest then I burned out a hole in one of those button things in the armrest and mounted my switch. Was pretty easy after I figured out what wire to cut and got the other wires connected via butt. Next time I'll leave myself more room to work with though...
