Pic request: K swap into EF with hasport mounts.
I have seen pacmans crx with the K swap, but I have not seen any hasport mount swaps. I would consider this but I need to see it done before I will do it. Thanx

ive seen one picture of it in super street and it looks like it clears the hood but i dont think you can lower the car much....
well, i have the jdm front, so the hood has a little better clearence. I dont run my car dumped as it is a track car only. I would imagine that there is not much clearence for the oil pan to ground. i have seen it in an eg and i thought it sat pretty low.
hey the best place to see pics like that is at http://www.k20a.org when i was going to put a k20 in a ef that where i found EVERYTHING i needed, dont need it anymore because i am just going to get a rsx....haha i love k20's they are the ****. good luck man. i use to have pics but they got deleted sorry i coldnt help you out more though.
There's a couple people on k20a.org doing it. Here are some pics from Hasport's crx's. The k20a2 swap will clear the SiR hood but you will need to relocate the idler pulley, or run a 3-pulley setup.
Any more questions, feel free to ask.
This motor is k24 with a supercharger

keep in mind that the yellow crx has a k24 with a supercharger, so more clearance is needed. the black crx, as far as i know, never had a hood fitted on. it would clear a SiR hood but you would need to run a 3-pulley setup.
There is a company, bmc racing, that is supposed to be releasing a hood for these swaps...

thanx Fred n J's, that is what i wanted to see. can you get more pix of that from other angles? guess i better start saving for a k swap.
Man I cant wait to do this next fall
How do they "feel" in the ED body? I know they are lighter but with the weight more over the wheels it has got to be a improvment.
