Default Has anoyone done their own dyno for the AEM V2?

I was looking at AEM's site and they have a dyno showing like a 19 hp gain with their V2 for the ep3, so I was wondering if anyone has duplicated their findings on their own car.

Thanks

as with any manufacturer claim, take their gain number, divide it by 2. that's more like what you'll get.

Ya, I knew it was too good to be true, just wondering what the actual number was.

From what I am gathering the cai can be a real bitch to install also. Although the v2 may give up a couple hp the install appears much easier and hydrolock issue goes away. I think I will wrap it up in themal tape also, hopefully save some heat soak.

v2's problem isn't that the piping gets hot. it's problem is that the pipe sits in the engine bay. i've logged intake temps as high as 140 degrees during the summer when it's hot outside. typically i find that intake temperature for the v2 after the car has warmed up is about 40degrees above ambient. and if u figure in that 10degrees is 1hp, that's half of your gains lost by high intake temperature.
