Default Built high compression motor with stock cams??

My boyfriend is about to get his built LS/vtec back from the machine shop and we were just wondering about breaking in the motor correctly.

The setup is:
B18b block
Scat rods, Wiseco 11:1 pistons
GSR head, P&P, Rocket springs+ retainers, OBD2 Prelude injectors.
Stock cams, stock TB, stock manifold(maybe secondaries removed)
stock P72 ECU

Only thing we're concerned about is the Stock cams and ecu. I've read around the all motor section and heard that high compression motors just don't run on stock cams. Compression is estimated to be around 11.5-12:1Is that going to be a problem even though for breakin there is going to be all stock intake manifold and throttle body.
The other thing is the ECU. there will be obd2 prelude injectors to make sure it doesn't run lean but how bad will it be to be running the stock ecu. We're thinking it won't be too bad since everything will be pretty much stock except for the higher compression. When he can afford it he'll have toda Cs, single stage manifold, 66mm TB, and tuned with hondata S100.

Any input would be great
TIA
Heres a pic of the pistons before going into the block cuz we all know threads with pics ROCK

You can run stock cams until you can afford a set of aftermarket cams.

You should look into a chipped ecu on uberata or crome. (Look for tuners in your area) You will save money over going with hondata.

When you're breaking in, you don't want to run too lean, or too rich... If you can - break it in on a dyno where you can achieve the optimum A/F ratio at both Narrow throttle and Wide throttle. If you don't have access to a dyno or a Wideband A/F, keep an eye on the plugs, the plugs will tell you if you're too lean or too rich.
