b16a second gen with first gen tranny
the wiring to get it to work in the car is gunna be a little tough, but the tranny and engine will bolt ot each other, no problems.
Just work on the wiring, and if you can, you might want to find the 1st gen b16 intake manifold and sensors from someone on parts trader or somewhere... that'd make it MUCH easier of a swap.

You dont have to bother with the older sensors. Everything from your stock si harness will plug up fine, except for a few minor things. You will have to extend the thermostat wires, and the mapsensor wires. Its not much harder than a first gen b16a. I should know, i have one in my car
my friend just did this swap, usind a b16a2,but the rare this is he is using a different computer, not the one that is supose to go with the engine,he didn't use the knock sensor and using a ls tranny, until now nobody has beat him in the street races in the last 3 weeks sinse the swap, even a guy with the same set up correctly mounted and skunk2 cam, maninfold, type r header high 13 at the track
