Actually, I might. Let me check. My buddy has an extra H22 head that we bought. I am not sure if he got rid of the cams yet or not. i will check.

 

extra head? Actually, ask him if he still wants the entire head, or if he wants to just sell me the bare head, I'd love that too!

I seriously doubt that JG will drive across the damn country to buy the head off of you. Just fuel and food wouyld cost more than the shipping price.

well, I appreciate the offer for the head, but a few things:
-I already have everything that will go on it. Bored TB, match bored ported and polished intake manifold etc.
-I never want to touch JG stuff again. You would only end up keeping the JG sprockets and using them as paper weights.
-I think Canada is actualy close than you are. Pick up is about out of the question.

 

hey jg i have a question. i remember talkin to you a couple of years ago (world of wheels). you were tellin about all the stuff you've done. with all that work you had done what went wrong? was it a bad part? your car was the stuff. i just was wondering. is that guy that did your work on your car available? i am gettin really close to a rebuild and i dont want any dumbasses up here to work on it. i have 198,000 on original motor. thats saying alot since i am the one drivin it.

 

I don't know if he's available or not. He has my girlfriends car, and said it would be done yesterday, but he has disappeared, and will not return her phone calls. She had a tough time getting in touch with him when she was looking for a motor. It took a week before he would return/answer any of her calls. So I'm not sure if he is busy or not, but I would assume so since it's taken over three and a half weeks just to do a simple motor change.

Although, I can recommend a very nice shop up here that gives a warrenty with his work, and treats his shop very much like a business instead of a side project unlike the previous shop mentioned.

Oh, and I'd stay way away from JG/Edlebrock or whatever they are this week. They're just plain trouble.
