Wow, thanks for the useless search post, Ive already done that and found nothing. Hopefully the next person has something worthwhile to post.
the acura and crx wires match up. so putting the cluster in is easy (atleast for me)
for the vss, u have to remove the cover on the tranny that the VSS cable goes to, and put the electronic one. run wires to the vss and ur done.

I have done this upgrade my self. you will have to trim away some of the cluster and in the dash to make it fit. The only problem i have is when i fill my car up it only shows half a tank. good luck on the install.

you either did something wrong or your cluster or tank floater is messed up. mine works fine and goes all the way to F when i fill it up.
as far as wiring diagrams, i find pretty much all of the online ones useless and innacurate. make it easy on yourself and trace the back of the cluster to see where everything goes. that way you will be assured that everything works. its not hard to figure out what wires do what once you look at the back of the cluster.

on the old cluster it was fine it showed full. everything is wired correctly I am unsure why that happend. all connections are solid no crimps just solder.

this one thread alone has all the info https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=274235
usefull links in that thread in case it is usless in your opinion

if this plethora of information doesnt help hit me up and ill scan and email you the pinouts your having problems with from my DC or EF shop manuals. Ive done this as have many others one H-T. Its easy enough if you know how to solder and keep track of 25 wires. One thing none of these mention is there is an extra connector on the gsr cluster that (yellow) is usless.

theres a few extra wires on the gsr cluster.
the one for the MIL is useless
the one for the gas light is useless.
edit i misread what you said. the yellow conector is for the abs so yea thats the useless one.
but now you know youll have extra wires too
