race harness on del sol seats
i was wondering if it would be possible to put a 4 or 5 point racing harness on my del sol seats i think they are from a 93' in my 95 eg? i know this sounds kinda stupid but my mom wants harnesses in my car before i start racing it.
wouldnt it look weird because the del sol seats doesnt really have a spot wear the shoulder part would go, oh well but they will work. take pix after install.
atleast your mom is supporting you

I use a Schroth harness in my Civic Si with delSol seats and they work great.

The shoulder belts slip between the head rest and the top of the seat back. The rear section bolts to the chassis where the current rear seat belts do.

possibly.
Don't do it if you have a convertable and no roll bar!!

Yes. I feel that it's dangerous in any car without a cage, a harness and a helmet. Using them on the street is dangerous.

Absolutely. In an accident, the harness will hold you upright. If the roof should buckle, it will crush your spine and do serious damage. It's a proven fact.

And a cage without a helmet is just as bad IMHO. That little piddly foam padding people cover it with won't help you at all in an accident.
this is the reason i havent gotten a non-airbag steering wheel, cage, or harness.... cant afford all of em together, and dont wanna ride around with just one.... but if i did, i suppose it would be a cage
