Default pr4 distrib work on d16a6 head?

i have a pm6 distrib on my d16z6 right now and i need a new distrib. im runnin a d16z6 in my 91 si. im doing a b20/vtec swap in a couple months so i was wondering which distributor would work the best for me? basically i need a distributor that will run on my d16z6 head as well as the b16a head. im staying non-obd bcause i'll be using a pr4 ecu and right now im running a pm6 ecu. will a pr4 distributor work on my d16z6? the d16a6 harness should match to the pr4 distrib correct? any reasons it wouldnt work? i've read a pm6 distrib will work on a b20 head so hmm.

the pm4 will not work. Iam pretty sure that the dist key is not the same size.

I have done it.
To use the distributor you need the ecu to go with it.
And you have to be a bit creative in the mounting.
BUt otherwise it works.

THis is what I did. I have 89 civic Si. I'm runing SOHC VTEC head (Z6)(well, whole Z6 motor) with 1G B16 JDM distributor. IT FITS but none of the attachements for the head and the legs of the distributor match. To solve that, you need to make 3 mount extensions.
I'm also running PR3 JDM ECU on that setup.
Now, for the punch line, I'm switching over to B20/B16 head very soon keeping that distributor and ECU!!!!!!! So, I'm OBD 0 and can run HONDATA!!!!!
Few wire extensions, but the plugs stay the same!!! Make sure you use same injectors.
