okay my situation is i have a 93 cx and the driver side window is messed up......how.....let me tell u.......when i roll it down to a certain point like half way, my widow POPS off the crank.....so i opened my panel and i saw that what is happening is that the glue STUFF iono wut its call ain't working no more like its not stickin the window between the window crank....anyways what i need to know is what the hell the stuff is called and where i could get it? i searched already and i coudlnt' come up with anything... anyhelp would be good...thanks

What glue stuff are you talking about? this used to happen to my cx hatch too but when i would put my window back on track i never saw any glue stuff just the rubber linning that goes onto the track. If thats whats sticking just get some silicone spray and your done.

 

isnt the white glue stuff is used to glue the plastic bag onto the door.

yup...doesnt have anything to do with holding the glass on the rail though......??

EDIT: Wonder why he thinks thats making his wondow pop off the track

 

what? there should be only two black rails. as far as the white gluey stuff goes, it could be the lube from the cranks and bolts.

 

ooopz my bad...its not the white gluey sticky stuff thats for the door panel...i think i mean the gluey rubber thingy that is on the window between the crank....like u know how the driver side window, u cant bolt it on the crank and the passenger u can.. .well wutever that stuff is called for the driver side is i need to know or wut i can use to make the window to stay in between
