A teg with 125k I might buy? Yes or No?
Hi, new here..
I found an add for a red 94 integra ls its a 5 speed and has 125 thousand miles on it. I know acura/honda last a long time but should I buy this car or look for one with less miles? its $3,500 i might be able to talk him down to $3,000. The add says a few mods and is good shape..I just wanna know what you guys who have the car think of it at about 125k miles..Thanks

I bought my '95 teg a couple years ago with 145k on the odometer. I now have 197k miles, and have gone through 5 bottles of nitrous. I wouldn't be worried, as long as the engine has good compression #'s
id do it provided the owner isnt some ricer who modded his car and beat the **** out of it. You should run carfax and see how many owners the car has passed through

It all depends on the shape of the car, engine, etc. It seems like a good price if it is running nicely.
I remember test driving this guy's DA integra that my cousin was thinking about buying. It had exhaust, lowered, rims, some BS "Type R" sticker, altezzas, and intake. When I drove it, it was loud as ****, but slow as **** too. We told him we'd "think" about it, but I said no to my cousin.

So far, the car sounds good. As long as the motor hasn't been beaten to the ground, the motor in there should last you for some time. I bought my DA with 168K miles, and it's still running strong. Like the people said above, check the car thoroughly and do a carfax or something of that sort. Good luck
