FINAL WARNING!

Trinity and i have been in this forum overtime trying to clean it up and get its focus back on tech posts. We are loosing lots of very knowledgeable people who contribute lots of good information to this forum because of lots of useless posts that are being put up. Today alone i stayed in this forum all day long trying to clean it up but no matter how many posts i cleaned up a lot of crap i warned people about kept being done. So here is my final warning!

Do not post useless posts or OT stuff that has nothing to do with EF's or CRX's in this forum, that is why the members forum is here.

Do not start a completely new thread just to try and talk to 1 person, we have an IM option for that!

Do not post a 3 letter smart *** remark in a post about anything you think is "rice", either answer the freaking question so the post can move on or let it fall off the page!

Do not post something without using the search query first! alot of the new guys may not know but alot of the stuff posted has already been answered numerous times before, you can find tons of great info in the archives.

sorry to be such an *** but it looks like we are gona have to get tight if we want this forum to go back to the way it was at all. Were loosing lots of great members and forgetting what the focus of this forum is. We are here to talk about EF's and CRX's not what u think rice is or which color underwear we think you should wear. This is going to be my last warning, from now on i will deal with anyone not following the guidelines personally. If i have to talk to every single freaking person in this forum to get it back, so be it!

ok im done flaming, its 4am and im tired as hell so people just follow the rules and lets stay on subject, lets learn from each other as much as we can. Be good and get along so we can all get together for another MD meet come summer time.

thank you for finally saying something mario. i have been trying to get things back the way they are but you see when you do that, people are so used to just posting whatever that they biatch and whine. hey we are doing this to help YOU learn not give you a hard time. we made thread after thread telling you guys what not to do and some people still do it, some people learned. i don't know but why can't you guys just understand. there is a members corner to put off topic stuff in . put it there. you put it in here and then wonder why it got moved and get mad when we tell ya. we want this to be TECH hence the HONDA-TECH name. all we ask is for the people that know how it was to support us.

 

Mods are my heroes, I love you all.. lol, this is longer than 3 words, and its not about rice, hahaha.

But seriously guys, instead of posting pics of your car askign what mods to do next, to the exterior, that is what the cosemetic/appearance forum is for...

I like this board a lot, its second to my favorite board. But technically wise, this is #1.

 

Other forums of interest on Honda-Tech:

1.Classifieds-to buy or sell something( whether a classified belongs here is up to the mods, but I don't think it will get deleted or moved from that forum ).

2.Hybrid-Motor swap questions( the whole purpose of that forum...though it seems full of mostly 92 & up civics...it is still a good place to check ) And yes I am guilty of just asking those questions here, and some of them may belong here, but please check there as well.

3.Audio/Security-I don't see many post involving that here, but it is a good forum to check on occasion anyway.

I am not a mod, but I just thought this post might be a little helpful on this topic.

if you modders are trying to find reasons on why the boards are being clogged up with "poo poo"(i thought you hated that word oh or was it POOP), then why did you remove the off topic place?
now people have nowere to talk about sporks or underwear color any more so they clog up the other boards, and the reason is because they have nowere else to be usless...so you guys just hung yourselves...
i love this board and i am just gonna filter through the "poo poo" to find what i need or what i want to respond to...and i also think that some of you modders seem to use the lock ability too much and too hastily.

HONDA-TECH.com right the tech means technicall not bullpoo poo talk not go talk about the game or wutever u want to talk about. If u want to do that go to a sports board, go to a chat, or use the IM it works good i use it myself. The mods are doing this for the good of everyone who is here for wut the board is made for.

 

I love this site...not only technically but emotionally.. common guys why cant we just get along here?? the mods themselves actually spoke up what they had to say.
