1992 civic dx hatchback VTECH??

i just wanted to know if 1992 honda civics hatchback dx came vtech? even if no where around the car or on the engine it says vtech. and where can i find the motor ID to see if the car has had an engine swap. please any information will be helpfull thanks.

no VTEC but it is wired for vtec

its "Vtec" no "h".....and no...it doesn't. You can find the vtec sensor/switch on the lefthand side of the motor closest to the firewall.

I THOUGHT ALL 92s came with vtec? or were they just wired for it?
