Need a transmission for my NSX 94 auto..
LOL Well it might help if I could spell Transmission right in my name, that was a complete error - in part due to my frustration with looking for a transmission. Anyone have an idea where to find one rebuilt? Dealer wants 9400 dollars to do mine. This is crazy!

LOL Thanks ;o) Purely an error.. Oh well...
Any how back to the previous question, I think I was asking for a
auto, not manual. Thanks though. Either rebuilt, or where I can have it
done here in Orlando

See this thread, the winning bidder might sell it to you cheap.
Auto trans are cheap if you can find them, people tend to swap it out for the manual. You can contact SOS they might know a customer with one for sale.
I would upgrade to the 6 speed trans if I was you.

The link works fine for me. As prova4re said, contact the winner of the eBay auction: mrnormssupercars.
In case you don’t have the contact information for SOS, it can be found on the Science of Speed website. You also might want to call Mark Basch of Basch Accurate Service in Phoenix. I think the phone number is still 602-244-8010.
Also, contact ERZ Car (or All Type Auto).
Don’t spend too much. I’m not sure what used auto transmissions go for, but I can’t imagine they would be more than $1200 regardless of condition.
What’s wrong with your transmission anyway?

Uncles transmission in his NSX. Just started missing shifts, then whining like the gears were just completely worn (auto trans.) Took it to Acura dealership they want some hellacious amount of money to fix it. So I have gone on the hunt. As usual the wealth of knowledge in the forums far exceeds that of the dealer.
Going to try and call these guys today, I can't thank you enough for all of your help!

The guy in the Orlando area that most of the local NSX owners take their cars for work is Nabil, at First Class Automotive. Excellent service, very experienced on the NSX. Give him a call; maybe he knows where there's an automatic to be had...

I would try Nabil first, since he's local and can install it for you. He can call around to help find one.
If you're interested in contacting Mark Basch (of Basch Acura Service
), who also works on a lot of NSXs in Phoenix and may know of an automatic that's available, his phone number has been changed to 480-968-8010.

You have the updated phone number, but I have the updated name... Unless it has changed back and no one told me.

My bad. I wasn't aware that it had changed.
