im debating to get cams for my B18C1 or either get a JDM B18B for $500. and its like 10 mins from my house.

i know cams would make more power, but they would also cost more to install and tune.

also, i already have the basic mods I/H/E and the engine is in a 92 DX hatch.

 

Consider the cost of properly building an LS/VTEC before you make that decision. Plus you need to narrow down your cam choices. Cams range from three or four hundred for CTR cams, to twelve hundred (not including prices for other necessary components) for Toda VTK's. Do what you want to, just be sure to fully research either upgrade path before you make a decision.

 

if you got the b18c1 already running in your car, just get the cams. You only got 5 bills to spend.

 

if i do ls/vtec i already have the VTEC water/oil pump and timing belt (bought recently) from my GSR that i can use. so that is no problem. and i already have ARP headstuds for B18C1 and i would use the golden eagle ls/vtec kit.

and cams will be RLZ stage 2's. if i sell my GSR block i will just buy those
