sucked up water in intake.
well i was drving home and it was raining.. trying to get home asap to take the cai off to put the sri on. then i hit a puddle. Car drove fine for about 10 mins then it stalled. Went back to the car 3 hours later and it started up with a little hesitation. 2 hours after that started it back up to take it home and it ran fine. Is it possible the water evaporated?? Also I heard to take one of your spark plugs out and turn the motor over. what spark plug should i take out 1,2,3, or 4??
well i would let the car run for a while, maybe an idle to dry out everything.
i still dont see how people can suck up water in their intake.
been driving for a year in rain, snow and shine

yes, all of them.
yes, all of them.
take out one at a time, i am not to sure what this is for, but i believe it is to help compress the water out of there without really compressing it and damaging the engine.
I don't wanna jack this thread but i always wondered how people suck up water with their CAI...i've had it on for 5 years now and I drove thru horrific rain storms...my understanding the only way to suck up that much water was hit a deep puddle while lifting the throttle all the way... I dunno..whatever

Take all of your spark plugs out, your battery turns your starter and the starter turns your motor. You dont WANT the motor to start, thats the point, you DO want to get the water out of your engine/chambers though.
thanks guys!! everything is good now... BTW how much would you guys pay for an 02 s2000 with 10k miles on it?? looked at a red one today and I am itchig to get it. They want 19,800 for it
If the car runs why the hell would you want to pull your plugs?
You pull your plugs if the engine is actually hydrolocked (won't turn over anymore). Once they're out, turn engine over and watch the water show.
Anyway, from the sounds of it you didn't suck up much. You probably just steam cleaned your combustion chamber a bit now. No big deal. Do an oil change just in case some water made it's way past the rings down into your oil. Foamy oil is bad and doesn't lubricate worth a ****.
