What headers does everyone prefer for the EP3?

What headers does everyone prefer for the EP3?
Wondering on which headers to purchase.
What header gets as we say "the most bang for the buck?".
New to the EP3 and just taking inputs on which one i should purchase.
Also which would add more hp/toruqe would be nice.

i have to disagree about ephatch being for "Ricers"....if anything, honda-tech is much more full of that type because just face it,.....if you have an ep3 you are not gonna "rice" it,...you are gonna race it. As for headers, jackson racing race header if you wanna spend upwards of 500 other than that,...anything is better than stock.

DC race headers if you plan to staright pipe
DC ceramic 4-1 headers otherwise.
This is what I have, they also have stainless steel version of this too for more BUCK$$ but I think the reliabilty's the same, stainless steel is mostly for looks but no one's gonna look in there so it doesnt matter.

are you going turbo down the road? if so you should just save your money .. but if your sticking na or supercharger , and have no emissions , i say dc sports race header .. i think you can find them for like 260$ at a few places...
and if you goto ephatch.com there is a write up to make a mech o2 sim. so you dont have a check engine light after the install.

Every car board is going to have it's fair share of "ricers". Generalizing one whole board, just because it is dedicated to one certain car is lame. Grow up.
just make sure you submit that warranty card just in case.

I believe you are confusing ephatch with clubsi.
We aren't a bunch of ricers over on ephatch. Riced out SIs are frowned upon.

EPhatch is about 60% ricers.. i mean there are some nice EPs on that site but very very few... they're into body kits, huge exhausts, huge wheels and all the other bullshit
EDIT: i shouldnt say 90% its more like 60% because there are some nice cars

im not going to get into a huge argument over it, but go to ephatch and find what you are talking about. yeah, there are a few members with 17's and even 18's. granted it isnt my taste, im not going to bash em. just b/c someone doesnt have some 16" volks, advan, work, rota, etc. doesnt mean they are a ricer.

To you if someone has a body kit, exhaust, rims it is "Rice". Though you stated 60% are into "body kits, huge exhausts, huge wheels"... Not sure how you looked through the whole site to come up with 60%, and body kits/lip kits are a great way to change the look of your ride so not sure why you would knock it since most folks on the site do it cleanly, and huge exhausts... not sure what you consider "huge" but it seems makers designed them that way for some reason go figure. Also if you consider 17" rims which is mostly choosen next to 15's as big wheels well then you need to visit some more "show" oriented sites and see what big really is.

Hah... if 17's, body kits, and big wings make you a ricer then you haven't checked out the 04+ Civic SI HFP... it comes with 17's, ground effects, and a larger wing and what about the 02+ Civic Type R... it comes with a 17's, full ground effects, and a larger wing... hah or how about the Buddy Club Racing Civic Type R? It's got a body kit, big wheels, and a larger wing,the exhaust isn't exactly small either, and it's even got a bunch of VINYL GRAPHICS OH MY!...

and unlike a lot of previous Civics that came stock with 13s & 14s and didn't need a large wheel well... the EP comes with a much larger wheel well allowing it the option of housing a larger wheel and not look like it was cramming it underneath itself...
I don't know what your idea of "huge" wheels is, but on EPhatch most people don't have bigger than 18s... my idea of huge on any Civic is something 20 inches or over.. and I definitely haven't seen that on EPhatch
besides you can't expect to try and style the EP like an older generation Civic because it just won't work... the car is a different kind of animal than your average Honda... you can use similar styles as before but in the end the EP is a new style Honda all around and requires mods to accomodate...
In defense of EPhatch and it's members(including myself), I have yet to see an EP on there that was all riced out... I haven't seen any big aluminum wings, a prevailing amount of euro tails, giant graphics, chrome wheels, etc...
the vast majority of the members are big fans of the JDM scene and are dying to get a hold of JDM CTR body pieces, headlights, interior pieces, etc...
that's all...

This is true. All I ever see are people buying full CTR body pieces for their EPs over at EPhatch.com. Aside from some bad taste in wheels here and there, I don't see too many examples of rice.

i started here on H-T because it had great info and i learned a lot about my previous car. Now I come back just to read posts and check it out at times. Now that I have an EP3 I am usually at ephatch. The only reason is because that site is dedicated to the ep3 and will answer any questions about it. i dont want to talk bad about h-t but if anyone has an ep and doesnt know about ephatch check it out. Since the person who started the thread got his answer maybe this should be locked so there is no more argueing.
