Hi guys, I'm having this WEIRD problem with how my crx drives. I know what's causing it too but can't seem to fix it. When i'm in 1st gear trying to as the car to go with the clutch down.... it seems like the BRAKES is down also. The BRAKES is STIFF and won't even go down but it seems like its on. How did i test this. I drove it up to my driveway, and put it in Neutral and it didn't roll down. It just stayed there. It's like, sometimes when u press the brakes down to HARD, It auto locks itself? What should i check? I jacked up the whole car and had my brother sit in the car while i spinned each of the wheels to see if the brakes where stuck on or not. They spinned fine. This only happends when u presst he BRAKES too hard and it get STIFF.

 

calipers? possibly the pads are thin and the caliper pistons are too far out, getting stuck? highly unlikely, but a thought

 

slides may be sticking, may need to do a rear drum service (clean, lube & adjust).
