theyre basically the same engine (pretty much as same as the f22b and h23a) the f20b is just a destroked version of the h22 thats all

only plus of f20b is it's lofty redline (which makes for a much better basis for an all motor setup)...cons include less displacement, or lack of tourque, which is much needed in the world of 4 cylinders...

the pros of the h22 is first of all that they are much more readily available, as are aftermarket parts...therefore, because they are more abundant, the motor is less expensive to begin with...also, the h22 came as an obd1 motor and the f20b did not, which should make it easier to tune...

If you want all the info, look in the lude forum FAQ.

F20b will suck in your heavy accord.

Very interesting spelling for your SN.

h22 is basically (use the term loosely) the same as the f20

The big difference comes when you have to replace parts. Finding a rod bearing for the h22 will be much easier than for the f20. Just a thought

Well just the block has a different bore, different crank, different sleeves, different stroke, different journal width......

That is a VERY loose 'basically the same'.....

They are the same at birth in the refinery and casting, i suppose.

F20b revs a whole lot higher and has higher compression but it also cost alot more... -justin-
