ive got one of those deflectors also on my crx.
it works well to quiet the wind when the sunroof is partially open, or in the slightly cracked position. but you also hear it constantly when the sunroof is closed. its just a slight whirr tho, sometimes mine whistles, but it didnt before for some reason. so its a real trade: quiets the wind when the sunroof is partially open, but makes noise when its closed. however, when the sunroof is COMPLETELY open, its just as noisy as without it.
the extra benefit of the deflector is that it works as a sun shade when you want to keep the sunroof open a few inches. it sucks having the sun directly over you. thats why i hate convertibles...
heres a pic, just cuz i took it today by chance.
