starter problem
I just replaced my transmission, and now that its all back together, I am getting no response from the starter.
What connects to the stud closest to the cross member?
Does anyone have any suggestions? I know this isnt alot to go on, but was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.
Can I test the starter myself or do I need to pull it off and take it to Advance?

The one wire from the main fuse boxs connects to the stud, and there is a clip on the starter that needs to be hooked up.

Ok, there is the wire from the positive terminal connected to the stud closest to the firewall, then there is the clip that has a wire running from the main harness, then there is the stud that is closest to the bumper. I cant find another wire to attach to it. I went and looked and there isnt another connector from the fuse box. What am I overlooking?

check all of yours grounds. i had the same pronlem and fixed it today. mine turned out to be the ecu ground which connects to the thermostat housing. i would say its a ground problem, but if you do a search, then u will find instructions on how to test starter.
