Default 4th gen and aftmrkt seats?

What all is needed and from where to put a different set of seats in my 4th gen, my front leather is showing some wear so I figured I would start one seat at a time. I'm not interested in dropping 1k for the best bride, sparco, etc. I need something that will do the job, be fairly comfortable, and look better than the worn leather. Shoot me some ideas and websites to start looking.

Thanks lude gods.

You can try some of the "knock-offs" , which IMO are not proven in terms of safety, or retrofitting seats from another car.

I fab'd up some brackets and put the TRD seats from a new Celica GT-S into my 4th gen, and another guy on here has put leather RSX seats in his 4th gen; both look awesome.

If you're looking for a cheaper seat, I would recommend getting a name-brand seat but the lower models; i.e.- the ones that don't recline, etc.

I'm selling a set of Corbeau CR1's in red and black with black 4 point belts and the brackets required to put them in a 4th gen, the seats are reclinable and the brackets are adjustable. I'll make a good deal on the package, shoot me a PM or email brian@solid-technology.com.....everything is in great condition (no fading or any of that BS), they've only been in the car a couple months and it sits in the garage....

I've got a set of those CR-1's in my S2000. The side bolsters make it incredibly comfortable

Are there any seats the same size as the prelude seats? All of the seats i've sat in are uncomfortable - my shoulders are very broad....

If anyone cares... I am contemplating about selling my WHOLE interior. Seats, rear seats, vinyl red inserts, arm rest cover, sparco rails/sliders/harnesses.

I want these...

My seats are all faded. I think I am going to get them reapolsterd(sp?) to kind of be like those recaros.

Are the stock 4th gen seats made by recaro?

can you use the stock seat belts with racing seats? i wouldn't really want to use the harnesses for daily driving.

Bad idea.

You don't want to use harnesses unless you have at least a roll bar.

Yes you can use the stock belts, and you also don't need a rollbar to use the 4 point belts. As long as you anchor the belts to good places you'll be fine.

Nope not yet......lots of people interested, but nobody with money. It's hard for me to believe that with all the people buying shitty ghetto ebay turbokits nobody wants to spend a little more and get a showworthy custom kit. I'm starting to part stuff out now too, so it's no longer a complete kit (I already sold the injectors/rail/regulator)....

Reminds me of reason 2 why I'm done with cars, and imports in specific: The whole industry is ricers and scammers. It's the who-cares-if-the-manifold-cracks-in-a-week-as-long-as-its-cheaper mentality......
